Neck Ultrasound
An ultrasound of the neck is performed to look at specific glands and vessels in the neck. This includes the thyroid gland, lymph nodes, arteries and any general lumps and bumps that may appear. This is a specialised scan performed by our Consultant Radiologist.
Neck ultrasound includes:
- Thyroid
- Lymph Nodes
- Lumps & Bumps
- Carotid Artery
Chest Ultrasound
A chest ultrasound is performed to look at the structures of the chest wall including muscles and ribs. It can also help in the assessment of gynaecomastia (enlarged breasts in men) for those looking to get surgery. Although extremely rare, breast cancer can affect men and a chest ultrasound is the first line of scanning for this. Lumps and bumps scanning, lymph nodes and a check of arm pits are also included in this scan.
Chest ultrasound includes:
- Gynaecomastia
- Breast Swelling
- Lumps & Bumps
- Muscles & Ribs
Abdomen & Pelvis Ultrasound
An abdominal ultrasound is performed to see organs and blood vessels inside the abdomen. Depending on the type of abdominal ultrasound performed, certain organs and specific conditions can be investigated. Scans of the pelvis can look for muscle injuries and hernias.
Upper Abdomen
Kidney
Lower Abdomen & Pelvis
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening
Testicular Ultrasound
A testicular ultrasound scan is performed to look at the testicles. Lumps and swellings on the testicles can be extremely worrying. All testicular ultrasound scans are performed by a male Consultant Radiologist.
Testicle ultrasound includes:
- Lumps & Bumps
- Hydrocele
- Varicocele
- Hernias
Lumps & Bumps Ultrasound
Swellings can appear anywhere on the body. Before considering getting them removed it is extremely important to get them scanned to confirm what they are. Often most lumps and bumps are lipomas (fatty swellings) or sebaceous cysts. Rarely they can be more concerning. At Rejuvence Scans our Radiologists can scan any lump anywhere on the body.
Lumps and bumps ultrasound includes:
- All body regions
- Lipomas
- Cysts
- Ganglions
Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
A musculoskeletal ultrasound can help to diagnose a large number of muscle, tendon and joint injuries. Following identification of certain injuries we are also able to offer ultrasound guided steroid, hyaluronic acid and biocellular treatment injections for pain relief and repair of injuries.

Deep Vein Thrombosis Ultrasound
A deep vein thrombosis scan is performed to search for evidence of a clot in the veins of the legs and thighs. A DVT normally presents with pain and swelling in one or rarely both legs. This can occur after prolonged periods of inactivity such as a long flight or after surgery. Our radiologists can perform an ultrasound scan to look for clots as well as other causes for swelling and/or pain.
DVT ultrasound includes:
- Both legs
- Swollen Calf
- Painful Calf
- Muscle Tears
